A Simple Tip to Finding Your Energy Again!

Today we will share a simple, effective way to support digestion and combat fatigue so you can find your energy again:

We call it a digestive walk.

What Is a Digestive Walk?

A digestive walk isn’t about burning calories or improving heart health – it’s a gentle stroll; not a workout.

It is taking a 10-20-minute low intensity walk, or stroll, after meals to help your body process food efficiently by boosting blood circulation, regulating digestive enzymes and hormones, so the digestive organs have everything they need to maximize the digestive experience.

If you are low on energy and high on fatigue, a digestive walk can be one of the essentials for finding your energy again.

How Does It Help the Body?

A short stroll after eating offers a surprising number of benefits:

Improved Nutrient Absorption: Better circulation helps distribute macro-nutrients (carbohydrates, proteins, and fats) and micro-nutrients (vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants) so nutrients can be absorbed and utilized throughout your body. This results in you being better nourished, experiencing less inflammation, and the body able to run more efficiently. That equals less fatigue!

SCORE! One Point!

Reduced Digestive Discomfort: It reduces issues like bloating, gas, and acid reflux (GERD). A digestive walk it is like giving the stomach a massage – it can relax and do its work more effectively and efficiently as well, resulting in better use of enzymes, less inflammation, better timing and spacing of food released from the stomach. If the stomach is happy that also equals less fatigue!

SCORE! Two Points!

Better Gut Health: Light movement supports smoother digestion in the small and large intestines, with improve nutrient uptake, absorption and distribution, and peristalsis resulting in relief of constipation and other gastrointestinal issues like IBS. So, no back up, no toxifying the system from putrefying stool remaining too long in the intestinal tract. That means less toxin absorbed by the body, clearer mind and that equals less fatigue!

SCORE! Three Points!!!

Balanced Blood Sugar: A digestive walk can help prevent spikes in blood sugar. The movement helps the stomach release the sugar at a rate that the body can manage better. Also, a digestive walk decreases insulin resistance and increases insulin sensitivity so the blood sugar is carried into the cell where it can be used for energy. That means, better regulated glucose levels in the blood, and better utilization of energy within the cell, resulting in less fatigue!

SCORE! Four Points!!!!

Improved Heart Health and Cholesterol Levels: A digestive walk lessens the stress of the heart because circulation is improved and the blood is able to carry the nutrients where they need to go more efficient. Cholesterol levels are improved as well; the HDL (Happy or the cholesterol we want to be High) level increases while the LDL (Lousy or the cholesterol we want to be Low) level is lowered, because the load on the liver is reduced and the cholesterol can be cleared from the blood more easily. This results in reduced after-meal grogs and that means less fatigue.

SCORE! Five Points!!!!!

Improved Hormonal Regulation: Hormones – they are great when they are balanced… and can rack havoc when out of balance… with a healthy lifestyle that includes digestive walks, hormones quite naturally come into balance. (A big key factor in hormone regulation is staying completely away from sugar – it is the worse at racking havoc on the hormones. Give it a try for three weeks see how much better you feel!) When the hormones are better regulated, it will improve your sleep and wake cycles, which will result in less fatigue.

SCORE! Six Points!!!!!!

Improved Immune System: One of the biggest winners for digestive walks is the immune system. A digestive walk strengthens the immune system to respond appropriately to toxins and foreign entities that gain access inside the body. Inflammation is dealt with much better, pain is reduced, and flare ups are significantly reduced. With an immune system that is working more effectively and more efficiently the fatigue level is reduced and energy can be found.

SCORE! Seven Points!!!!!!!

Digestive Walks = LESS FATIGUE and MORE ENERGY!

If you are suffering from fatigue, burn-out, mental exhaustion, and overwhelm with health and life, or simply sit too much, by incorporating digestive walks into your routine after meals, can help your body feel lighter, more comfortable, and able to function more efficiently and more effectively, so you can experience less fatigue and more energy.

By the way, when walking isn’t feasible, other light movement activities can also be beneficial. The point is to move and move more after meals.

Are you ready to schedule digestive walks into your regular routine?

The next time you finish a meal, resist the urge to sink into the couch.

Instead, take a short, leisurely stroll, a Digestive Walk.

You might be surprised at how much better you feel!
