Let’s break it down:

S — Sunlight
We need direct, natural sunlight to help our bodies produce vitamin D, support mood, and boost overall health. (Genesis 1:14-18; See also Genesis 1:3; Malachi 4:2; John 1:1-5, 9-10, 14)
T — Trust and Temperance
Cultivate meaningful trusting relationships and practice temperance by abstaining from harmful habits and using good things in moderation. (Genesis 1:26-28; 2:7, 16-18, 21-24; 3:8-9; 1 Peter 5:7; 1 Corinthians 9:25, 27).

A — Atmosphere
Surround yourself with a sweet, pleasant, and uplifting environment. A positive atmosphere is vital to emotional and mental health. (Genesis 1:6-8. A negative atmosphere hurts relationships. Genesis 3:1-14. But God has the remedy (Genesis 3:15; Galatians 3:16; Romans 12).
R — Rest
Quality sleep is non-negotiable. Adults need 7–9 hours of sleep each night to allow the body and mind to restore and heal. We also need a weekly rest and times of rest throughout the day. (Genesis 2:2-3. Also notice each day of creation week begins with rest – “the evening and the morning” – Genesis 1:5, 8, 13, 19, 23, 31; Matthew 11:28-30; Mark 6:31; Hebrews 4:1-13).

T — Thoughts and Thinking
Guard your thoughts. Avoid negative thinking, and instead, nurture your mental space with hope, positivity, and purpose. (Genesis 2:16-17; chapter 3. See also 2 Corinthians 10:3-5).
A — Attitude
Our Thoughts and Thinking will determine our attitude toward life. Gratitude changes everything; a positive, thankful mindset can shift your health in a positive, powerful way. (Genesis 1:1-4; 3:15, 21; 1 Corinthians 10:32-33; Philippians 2:5).

N — Nutrition
Returning to the original, natural, whole food, plant-based diet will promote health and proper digestion — fuel for repair and healing. This diet program can be individualized within the context of the diet given to man after sin entered our world, to help us achieve our individual best health! (Genesis 1:11-12, 29; 2:9, 15-17; 3:18; Deuteronomy 8:3; John 8:48-63; 1 Corinthians 10:31).
E — Exercise
Incorporate a variety of movement: gentle digestive walks, cardiovascular exercise, strength training, flexibility, and balance. Keep your body moving with purpose (Genesis 2:15; 3:17, 19; 1 Corinthians 9: 24-27; Hebrews 12:1-3).

W — Water
Hydration is key — inside and out. Drink plenty of water and make time for water-based therapies like baths or showers and hydrotherapy (that explanation can be for our next blog 😉) to refresh and rejuvenate. (Genesis 1:9-10; 2:10-14; John 7:37-38).
YOU!
