Tasty Tuesday-Onion Salad

Onion Salad

Yield: 4 servings


  • 1 onion, diced

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 Tablespoon nutritional yeast

  • ¼ teaspoon Celtic salt

  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric

  • 1 teaspoon dried stinging nettle leaf

  • 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil (optional)


  1. Prepare onion and garlic. Add all other ingredients and toss.

  2. Serve as a compliment to every savory meal.

  3. Serve. Bon Appétit!


  • Use dried cilantro or parsley in place of stinging nettle.

  • Can also use 1 Tablespoon fresh stinging nettle leaf, cilantro or parsley, minced.

  • Use chopped olives in place of olive oil.
