Yield: 4 servings Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients: ½ cup green bell pepper, chopped fine
1 cup stewed tomatoes, blended
½ teaspoon thyme, dried
1 teaspoon chili powder
2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
1-2 Tablespoons agave nectar
2 cups Bulgur Burger Crumbles
Directions:
Place prepared bell pepper, blended stewed tomatoes, seasonings, lime juice and agave in a large skillet.
Heat over medium heat until pepper is tender.
Add Bulgur Burger Crumbles and simmer to desired thickness.
Serve over whole grain hamburger buns.
Quick Tips: Freezes well.
