Tasty Tuesday-Simple Romaine Salad & Marty's Favorite Dressing


Simple Romaine Salad

Yield: 4 servings


Ingredients:

  • 4 cups romaine lettuce, cut or torn

  • 1 cup tomatoes, chopped

  • ½ cup red bell pepper, chopped

  • ½ cup cucumber, sliced or chopped

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a salad bowl.

  2. Serve with your favorite Kick-Start dressing.

  3. Enjoy and Bon Appétit!


Marty’s Favorite Dressing


Ingredients:

  • ⅓ cup plant-based mayo

  • 3 Tablespoons salsa

  • 1 Tablespoon nutritional yeast

  • ¼ teaspoon oregano

  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder

  • ⅛ teaspoon seasoned salt

  • ⅛ teaspoon garlic powder

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients and whisk together.

  2. Store in refrigerator until just before ready to serve.

  3. Enjoy and Bon Appétit!
