I'm Dana West, a passionate advocate for vibrant health and healing, and my journey began in the lush landscapes of West Virginia. Growing up, I experienced the best of simple, country living but also faced health challenges that shaped my path. My mother, a health-conscious vegetarian, did her best to guide us, yet I found myself drawn to the rich American fare my friends enjoyed. This led to a series of health issues and a journey that would ultimately transform my life.

Struggling with hypoglycemia, heart dysrhythmia, and a slew of other health problems, I embarked on a quest to find relief.

My turning point came when I met Marty, who struggled with multiple food allergies. 

​

Together, we dove into a whole food, plant-based (WFPB) lifestyle, and I witnessed firsthand its transformative power.

However, the journey was not without its setbacks. Our initial attempts into this new lifestyle were marked by yo-yoing between the standard American diet and the plant-based diet, with ice cream being our downfall, every time.

The real victory came when I dedicated my food choices to God, committing to this lifestyle not just for a year but for my entire life. The results were miraculous: hypoglycemia, IBS, and heart irregularities vanished, and I felt care-free. This led to the creation of the Start a New YOU!® Program, a testament to the power of holistic, faith-driven healing, learning how to cooperate with God and His Saving Health Plan.

Now I own and operate, Abundant Health Wellness Center, helping individuals like yourself battling disease with compromised immune systems on a journey to reclaim their health. Our retreats at Sunny Dawn Acres, named in honor of my late daughter, offer a serene environment for healing and transformation. Here, participants engage with God’s Ten Essentials for Health™, reconnecting with nature and their all-powerful  God and His Healing Plan.
