Broccoli Salad
Yields: 6 1-cup servings
Ingredients:
Dressing:
½ cup cashew butter
2 Tablespoons maple syrupÂ
2 Tablespoons lemon juiceÂ
2 Tablespoons waterÂ
¼ teaspoon garlic powderÂ
½ teaspoon saltÂ
1 teaspoon Bakon® Hickory Smoked Dried Torula YeastÂ
Salad:
4 cups broccoli
1/3 cup red onion, diced
1/3 cup roasted sliced almonds
1/3 cup juice sweetened dried cranberries and/or sliced grapes and/or strawberries
Directions:
Combine all dressing ingredients and set aside.
Place prepared vegetables, fruits and nuts in a large mixing bowl.
Add dressing and toss until evenly coasted.
Chill until ready to serve.
